We are deeply saddened by the recent school shooting in our community. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the victims, the first responders, and all of us who are struggling with the impact of this traumatic event. Children should be able to attend school safely and their parents should be able to send their children to school each day without any fear of a shooting occurring at their school. We need to work together to prevent future events like this one.
